The Journey Since 2014
2014
The cooking demonstrations began in 2014, rooted in a simple yet important goal: to nourish our community both in body and spirit. Established in 2014, these demonstrations serve as a dynamic platform for sharing, learning, and celebrating the rich tapestry of African cuisine within the Rhode Island community.
As the years have unfolded, these demonstrations have become a tradition within our community and Pop-up Farmers Markets, fostering a sense of belonging and joy around the simple act of sharing a meal.
Each dish comes with its own story, a piece of history or a family tradition. Our cooking demonstrations go beyond the how-to, offering a glimpse into the cultures and communities behind the cuisine.
Sharing the Lessons
After each demonstration, we're excited to share
